Luis Porras is a self-taught cartoonist who’s been drawing nonstop since age 5—usually on anything except the actual paper he was supposed to be using. His schoolwork may have suffered, but his doodles thrived.

After spending years in the 9–5 world, Luis kept his passion tucked away like a secret sidekick, always ready to jump back into action. Eventually, he realized cartoons were more than a hobby—they were home.

Today, Luis is an author and illustrator turning imagination into ink, showing that it’s never too late to follow the thing that makes you light up inside. His mission? Inspire anyone who feels “behind” to pick up their passion and run with it.
